Today has been a very long day. We started out with our presentation at HUFLIT. It was fun to meet local students here in Ho Chi Minh. I enjoyed when the girls sang local Vietnamese songs. It was interesting to learn about their requirements for school. I wish in the US we had more community service requirements in order to graduate. I couldn’t believe the students at HUFLIF hold the record for the longest continuous painting in Vietnam. After our presentation, the university was kind enough to treat us all to lunch. I can’t say it was my favorite lunch but it was interesting to say the least. Lots of local dishes that I could not get used to the texture of. Later in the afternoon we had a second presentation at the American Center. Following our last presentation we all went to dinner. We tried a Thai noodles restaurant called GO Thai Noodles. Overall I enjoyed our second day in Vietnam.

I agree with some of the textures of the foods we tried at the restaurant after our first presentation at HUFLIT. Some of it was just unappetizing.
