About Giving Voice
Giving Voice is a nationally recognized interactive theatre troupe that addresses various issues of diversity, oppression and microaggressions. Under the direction of theatre and dance professor Dr. Carol J. Maples, the group offers opportunities for workshop participants to discuss how to approach these situations by creating a safe environment to “try out” solutions. They have presented forums for high schools, universities, national conferences and international companies.
