The physics, astronomy and materials science website was redesigned as part of the Academic Website Project, which strives to enhance academic websites for use in recruitment efforts.
Key features of the newly designed website include the following:
- Offers top reasons to select a major
Each program includes bullet points about why a student should study that major. This format showcases each major’s selling points in way that’s easy for readers to consume. - Includes community outreach efforts
The website also includes unique offerings from the department, including the Phys-Biz van and NASA public observing night.
