Calling all prospective Missouri State students! 📣 Whether you’re starting to explore colleges, still deciding where to attend in the fall, or somewhere in between, Summer Visit Days are the perfect time to check us out.

When are Summer Visit Days?

Summer Visit Days will be on Friday, June 27 and Friday, July 25. Each event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both Summer Visit Days will offer the same activities – we recommend choosing the date that works best for you and your family.

What will I do during Summer Visit Days?

During Summer Visit Days, you’ll be able to come and go to each scheduled activity as you like. You can expect opportunities to:

  • Explore campus via a walking or shuttle tour.
  • Hear from a panel of current students.
  • Learn about cost and financial aid options.
  • Participate in exciting academic experiences.
  • Play lawn games with current and future bears!

We recommend viewing the online schedule ahead of time to help you plan out your day.

Southwest Missouri Visit Day: April 11

High school students and families from the southwest Missouri region are invited to attend Southwest Missouri Visit Day on Friday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This special event will showcase the amazing college experience SWMO students can have on our campus while still being close to home.

Event itinerary

Students and families will kick off their visit with a presentation covering the admission process, financial aid and next steps. Visitors will then have opportunities to explore:

  • Our 170+ academic options. Students and families can connect with professors and staff members from a variety of academic fields.
  • The dynamic student experience. Several SWMO students will share their Missouri State stories during a panel session.
  • Our picturesque campus. A current student will show visiting students and families around academic buildings, residence halls and popular hangout spots.

How to register

Prospective SWMO students who are interested in attending can save their spot by filling out this registration form. Please note: The deadline to register for this event is the end of the day on Tuesday, April 8.

For students who can’t attend, we offer in-person and virtual visit opportunities all year long.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Webinar: March 27

The Office of Student Engagement is excited to host its first ever Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) Webinar on Thursday, March 27 at 7 pm CT. This live webinar is designed for students who have been admitted to Missouri State for the Summer or Fall 2025 semesters.

Event information

During the webinar, current FSL students and staff will share how getting involved in Greek life can help students feel at home on campus. Topics will include:

  • MSU’s 25+ fraternity and sorority chapters
  • The recruitment process and timeline
  • Leadership and community service
  • Estimated costs
  • The FSL experience as told by current students
  • And also answer any questions
