Angie Keller, an instructor of Spanish in the Modern and Classical Languages Department and a photography student in the Department of Art and Design, is profiled in the March 2011 issue of Color magazine. The article highlights her current body of photographic work titled Miracles/Milagros.
Keller has photographed extensively in Peru for a number of years. Her recent project Miracles/Milagros focuses on the rich religious traditions of that country. Her photographs document various processions, celebrations, festivals and other manifestations of spirituality in her homeland. A large series of these photographs are currently on display in a solo exhibition at the Sala Miró Quesada Garland in Lima, Peru. Portfolios of her Milagros series have been featured in two major publications: the April 2011 issue of Caras magazine and the March 2011 issue of Color magazine.
