Brick City offers high school art workshops

High school students traveling to Brick City for workshops lead by art and design faculty.

Brick CityOn Nov. 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., high school students from Ozark, Kickapoo, Stockton, Blackburn and Glendale are coming to participate in workshops taught by faculty. A majority of these high schools have student teachers from the art and design department.

The students are comingĀ  to participate in art activities and find out what art at the college level is all about. Students will have the opportunity to learn about clay handbuilding, wheelthrowing, Raku, bookmaking and mini-illustration.
