On his teaching

Students said they are glad to have honest, non-inflated feedback. Kostovic’s curriculum often includes service-oriented projects like the T-Shirt designs that were developed for the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks for 2103. “He’s our toughest critic and we love him for that.”

On his research

Kostovic was in Bolivia at a major poster conference, gave a workshop and juried a show. He has been invited to create an original art work for the theme “Stop World Hunger” by the Center of Design in Rosario, Argentina. He has also been invited to make an original work for the theme “Migration” in La Paz, Bolivia. Kostovic is also slated to do an exhibition in Krackow of 50 of his posters at the Academy of Fine Arts this year.

On his service

Professor Kostovic helps students obtain outstanding recognition that goes beyond the classroom. Kostovic enters his students’ work into competitions worldwide. Nine of his students were among 200 finalists selected from 1,500 entries for the 5th International Student Poster Competition in Novi Sad, Serbia. This is just one of the many honors Kostovic’s students have received.

On behalf of the art and design department, we would like to give a huge thank you to Cedomir Kostovic and his incredible work. We are proud to have you in our department!
