Jeff Johnston, professor at College of the Ozarks, will be our visiting artist this Thursday, October 23. Between 9:30 and 4 PM he will demonstrating his process and discussing his current work; Mr. Johnston was recently featured in a exhibition at the Brick City Galleries. Additionally, Missouri State University is pleased to be hosting Richard Hirsch as an Artist in Residence from October 29 – November 5. Richard Hirsch is an internationally renowned ceramic artist and has served for many years as a professor in the School for American Craft at Rochester Institute of Technology. His artwork can be found in numerous museum collections both in the US and abroad. Mr. Hirsch will be giving a public lecture on Thursday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. Location: Brick City 1, Room 312. Also free and open to the public.
