With October 6 just a few days away, this First Friday will mark FFAW’s 16th anniversary, with over 25 exhibitions held all over Springfield; including those hosted by some of our MSU faculty and alumni. Listed below are a few highlights of Friday’s walk.
–Roll Call: This exhibition will open in the Art Education Gallery. There will be a gallery walk by curator Sylvia Hardy at 5:00pm, with an opening reception from 6:00-10:00pm.
–Printmaking and Ceramics Student Biennial Exhibition: This exhibition features art from students admitted into the MSU Ceramics and Printmaking BFA Programs, as well as current and past students who have taken Ceramic and Print courses within the last year. There will be an opening reception from 6:00-10:00pm, at the Student Exhibition Center.
–I love where I live: Jacek Fraczak, a member of the Design Faculty here at MSU, will be hosting a photography exhibition at the Corbett Law Firm Office (2015 E Phelps Street). The exhibition opens on Friday, 12:00-4:00pm, with an opening reception to be held on November 3, from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
