Just a little browsing through the Bureau of Labor Statistics . . .

The median salaries are higher in Missouri for some Art-and-Design-related occupations.

The national median salaries for individual Art and Design professionals are higher than the median household income for Missouri (2011 = $45,231).

Missouri National Growth
Art Director $110,000 $92,500 5%
Multimedia artists or animators $57,500 $70,530 8%
Graphic Designers $50,000 $48,700 4%
