Welcome back Missouri State Bears! August has certainly been a whirlwind, with new schedules, hectic parking, and challenging classes. With September rolling in and the semester settling down, be sure to come see what this month’s First Friday Art Walk has to offer!
This Friday, there will be 27 participating locations and shows. From painting, glass art, Modern Art and ceramics, to sculpture, photography, mixed media and eXtreme Fiber Art, the September Walk has something for everyone! Enjoy First Friday Art Walk 6-10 p.m. Sept.7.
MSU Brick City Gallery, 215 W. Mill, proudly presents Faculty Exhibition 2018-19 with plenty of refreshments starting at 6:00.
MSU Student Exhibition Center, 838 E. Walnut St., presents the Metals, Jewelry and Photography Students’ Biennial Exhibition. The exhibition consists of a combination of two-dimensional
and three-dimensional work produced by current Art+Design majors.
Big Modern Gallery, 204 S. Campbell Avenue, presents an exhibition of MSU students and Fresh Gallery Artists, This new community collaboration has a mixture of two- and three-dimensional work produced by MSU students from the clay and sculpture programs and community artists who are members of the Fresh Gallery which is affiliated with Springfield Regional Arts Council.
MSU Center of International Programs, 301 S. Jefferson, invites you to Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day early at the Morris Center with traditional art, clothing, games, and snacks during the Art Walk. The Center of International Programs brings the world to southwest Missouri through art, cultural displays, food, music, and more.
