“Failed First Test Go Back to Start,” a visiting artist talk by Corwin Levi, is the semester’s next event for the Visiting Artists, Designers, and Scholars Series. During Corwin’s talk, he will share stories and hiccups from his artistic path over the years along with photos and videos from his projects. The free event is open to the public and takes place October 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Brick City Building 1, room 312.

Corwin’s career includes several achievements in various fields of the art industry, as detailed in his artist bio:
Corwin Levi is a visual artist who works in ideas, design, bookmaking, curating, and writing. He has attended over twenty artist residencies and has lived in nineteen cities across thirteen states. Levi’s fellowships include the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program, Ucross Foundation for the Arts, the Millay Colony, Elsewhere, the Wurlitzer Foundation, and the H.A. Rey Center. He exhibits in and curates shows across the country, is managing editor for the arts blog Gwarlingo, painted a 175-foot-long mural across from MASS MoCA, and co-founded a design firm.
