Call for Submissions: Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Department of Art + Design and the University Galleries are excited to present once again the annual Juried Student Exhibition. The submission deadline is approaching, with entries due via Google form by January 25, 2023. Entries can be sent via the following link: https://tinyurl.com/2023juriedstudentexhibit.

The exhibition is open to all majors, minors, and graduates working in all mediums. Students graduating during the fall semester are still eligible to submit work for next spring’s exhibition. Full details and terms of entry or available on the downloadable prospectus PDF.

This year’s exhibition will be juried by Kansas City-based artist Caleb Taylor, with monetary prizes awarded for 14 different categories including the Mark J. Hall Best of Show Award. Accepted works will be exhibited in Brick City Gallery February 23–March 10, 2023.

Taylor Ladd is a graduate assistant for the Department of Art + Design. She is working towards her master’s degree in writing at Missouri State University with professional interests in writing about art, culture, and food.
