Tradition of the Month – Rappel Off the ROTC Tower

April 3, 2017 by Priscilla Childress

ROTC has been a program on Missouri State’s campus for years. One aspect of ROTC is the rappelling tower located behind Forsythe (across from the Rec Center).  While students are unable to rappel throughout most of the year, there are a couple of times when the tower is open to all students. During Family Weekend, ROTC allows students and family members to rappel. Additionally, students who take Military Science 101 have the opportunity to rappel.

Families and students will have the opportunity to rappel during Spring Family Day on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am – 1pm.
