Recent weather forecasts have called for the possibility of snow for parts of Missouri on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Rest assured, we are closely monitoring the weather conditions because the safety of our students and their family members is our utmost priority. At this time, we plan on going ahead with our one-day SOAR sessions on Thursday and Friday as scheduled.

We encourage you to stay informed about weather forecasts and road conditions as the week continues.

Changing SOAR Session Dates

If you are concerned about weather conditions and would like to attend our SOAR session on Thursday, January 9, 2025, please contact New Student and Family Programs at (417) 836-7641 as soon as possible.

Plans for Possible SOAR Cancellation

In the event that we need to make a change to the Friday, January 10, 2025, SOAR session, we will be in touch as soon as possible with information regarding academic advisement, class registration and transitioning to Missouri State. The information will be sent to the email account used to register for SOAR.

New Student and Family Programs staff will be available to offer assistance as much as possible.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or need help.
