Students enrolled in the Post-Conviction Justice Clinic course (CRM 316, taught by Jeanie Carver) present results of their case research to Tricia Bushnell, legal director of The Midwest Innocence Project, UMKC Law School, Thursday, March 19, 2015. In the course, students conduct a forensic science review of actual cases provided to them by the Midwest Innocence project. The Midwest Innocence Project reviews cases from currently incarcerated felons making claims of actual innocence.
