The Wall of Fame, located outside the Ballroom in the Plaster Student Union, is a designated location for the University to recognize and honor employees who have excelled at Missouri State and significantly contributed to the success and positive collegiate experience of students.
Dr. Dominic Capeci, Jr. served the History Department from 1972-2009. He was the first at Missouri State University to receive the title of Distinguished Professor due to his internationally recognized scholarship in African American history. He also originated the Black History Month committee and created the African-American Studies program.
Congratulations Dr. Capeci!
