Faculty from the department of counseling, leadership and special education recently received funding for Missouri State’s blindness and low vision, and orientation and mobility tuition programs.

The faculty members are:

• Dr. Tamara Arthaud, department head
• Dr. Paul Ajuwon, associate professor
• Ian Shadrick, instructor

The tuition program is offered to students enrolled in the graduate special education program for certification to become teachers of the visually impaired or orientation and mobility specialists. Approximately 16 candidates will receive funding.
