Richard Biagioni

Rich Biagioni has organized students in the chemistry department to participate in the Sertoma Chili Cook-off for at least the last 10 years.  He is passionate about chili and he is passionate about showing students how to contribute to their community.  Rich organizes an internal chili cook-off where students and faculty contribute pots of chili and often this activity occurs at Rich’s home.  Then the best chili is chosen each year (a different recipe each year).  The students cook and distribute the chili each year at the cook-off but Rich is there in the early morning to cook and all day long and for the clean up at the end of the day.  Rich shows leadership and definitely shows how we can all get involved in our community.
