Center awarded funds to help Polk County

Jane Hood, associate director of the Center for Resource Planning and Management at Missouri State University, was recently awarded $6,000 from Polk County to prepare an Enhanced Enterprise Zone application on behalf of the county.

The project will include defining the zone area, mapping and developing a zone redevelopment strategic plan. The application is expected to be complete by Dec. 31.
