DavidCornelison[1]Dr. David Cornelison, physics department head, received a grant of $25,000 from NASA via Missouri University of Science and Technology for his project “2012 NASA EPSCoR: Developing Materials Science Ties between NASA and MSU.”

The purpose of the grant is to educate Missouri State scientists and students about NASA’s research efforts. Two faculty and three students will be given the opportunity to participate in research projects at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. They will observe and learn from NASA scientists for five weeks before continuing their work at Missouri State for an additional five weeks. Each participant will receive a stipend.
