Diane May and Dan Watts, regional transportation planners for Missouri State University, have received a renewal grant in the amount of $73,530 to continue providing transportation planning services to the region of southwest Missouri.

This regional transportation plan is working in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) to continue the development of regional highway systems and update the regional transportation plan for the safety and comfort of southwest Missouri residents.

This ongoing effort is phased over multiple fiscal years, and this renewal grant will cover the fiscal years of July 2013 through June 2014.
