University makes strides in women’s science education

October 29, 2013 by Gale Lininger

Missouri State University has been listed in the list of top 50 schools in America for the education of women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by the College Database. Missouri State ranked 39th.

The College Database identifies universities based on the number of STEM programs offered at the university, a proportion of female student enrollment in these programs and a sizeable volume of female STEM graduates. This data was provided by the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
