This year has been an impressive one for Dr. Gary Meints, associate professor of chemistry.
In March, he received the Curtis P. Lawrence Award for Excellence in Faculty Advising.
Following review of Meints’ Lawrence Award application, the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) has awarded him their Outstanding Advising Award – Faculty Academic Advising for 2020.
“I want to express my appreciation to my advisee, who nominated me for the Lawrence Award and to Ross Hawkins from the Advising Center, who submitted the NACADA application,” Meints said. “I also want to thank the individuals who wrote letters of support for my applications.”
