Take part in the 2021 CNAS Undergraduate Research Symposium

The event will take place virtually April 29 - May 3.

The College of Natural and Applied Sciences is excited to host the 2021 CNAS Undergraduate Research Symposium virtually this year.   

The research symposium will take place April 29-May 3. 

Judging will occur April 29-30. The winners will then be determined and announced at the Awards Ceremony May 3. 

All current CNAS undergraduate students and December 2020 graduates are invited to submit a poster and video for the event.   

About the event 

Participants will present research data they obtained working with their peers or advisor.   

Attendees and judges at the symposium will provide feedback about the quality of research offered through these presentations.   

Judges will award cash prizes to presentation winners in each department of CNAS  and the  cooperative engineering program.  

These awards include:   

  • $100 for first place recipients. 
  • $50 for second place recipients. 

Judging will take place during a two-hour window on April 29–30. Participants should check their category to ensure availability.  

All participants must respond to online comments once daily each day of the conference events.

Students can sign up for the virtual event using their university email at ForagerOne.   

Upload an abstract, poster and a short video.   

Submissions are due by noon April 27.
