Hospitality professor appointed guest editor

He will serve as an important voice for the prestigious scholarly journal.

Dr. Albert A. Barreda has been appointed as a guest editor of Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development of Tourism. This is a special issue of the Sustainability Research Journal, a prestigious scholarly journal published semi-monthly by MDPI.  

Barreda, associate professor of the department of hospitality leadership at Missouri State University, also serves on the editorial board for the upcoming III International Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy Congress, set for Oct. 27-28. The theme will be “Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development.” 

Throughout his teaching career, Barreda has taught hospitality business related courses, including revenue management, strategic management and financial analysis, as well as other hospitality research courses.
