April 22 is Earth Day, but Missouri State University’s Student Government Association (SGA) has created opportunities to celebrate Mother Earth all week long.
April 18
Plastic bag swap, PSU atrium, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Bring five plastic bags for a sticker.
- Bring 10 plastic bags for a sticker and a reusable tote bag (while supplies last).
April 19
Trivia Night, PSU food court, 7-10 p.m.
April 20
Earth Day celebration, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- This event will include features of sustainable businesses, tours of the Campus Garden, a scavenger hunt, free Pineapple Whip, and more.
There will also be a student art showcase April 18-19 at the Multicultural Resource Center and a social media challenge through the SGA Instagram throughout the week.
There will be opportunities all week to win giveaway items including:
- Hydroflask water bottles.
- A Coffee Ethic gift card.
- Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium passes.
