Special Training Opportunity for CNAS Faculty on Friday! – Clickers (aka Student Response System)

If you’d like to learn how to use clickers in the classroom, attend this training on Friday, July 12 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Temple 143. RSVP to Xiaomin Qiu.

  • Thomas Callaway, materials science graduate student, presented his research about making batteries more sustainable at the Materials Research Society Spring Meeting in Phoenix. AZ. Advisor: Saibal Mitra
  • Melanie Carden-Jessen hosted a booth at the Ozark Mountain Gem and Mineral Society event.
  • Dave Cornelison, Tig Besara and 20 students went to NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

Preventing Sexual Misconduct – How Title IX and MSU Sexual Harassment policies apply to you

Offices of Title IX and HR/Organizational & Talent Development are combining their resources to offer two sessions to provide employees with an overview of sexual harassment, Title IX, and domestic violence in the workplace.

  • Wed, July 17 at 1:30-4:00
  • Thu, Nov 21 at 8:30-11

This course explains legal definitions, compliance, processes, employer responsibilities, and prevention. It is open to all employees, but you must register through My Learning Connection. Direct all questions to HRLearning@missouristate.edu.

  • “Yes means yes” – Jill Patterson, Title IX coordinator at MSU, answers some key questions about consent and sexual assault in an article with Affordable Colleges Online.
