- One CNAS student (in chemistry) was awarded a scholarship at the first annual STEM Signing Day by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce last May.
- Chris Barnhart and team met with leaders of the Maori to introduce freshwater mussels into a New Zealand lake.
- Chris Barnhart discussed the Butterfly House on KOLR10.
- Day Ligon and collaborators set out to save the endangered Hicatee, the river turtle of Central America.
