Sad News
Bill Cheek’s wife, Maret, passed away recently. A celebration of life service will occur at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 13 at First & Calvary Church. Bill is not having a formal visitation time but there will be an opportunity to visit with him following the service. Bill is an emeritus faculty member of GGP, served as associate dean of CNAS for many years and helped the university reaffirm HLC accreditation – twice!

The Ozarks Science and Engineering Fair is in need of judges! The fair is taking place Tuesday, March 24. Please register to be a judge and encourage one of your students to do the same – please register.

Missouri Academy of Science 2020 Annual meeting
MAS annual meeting is April 24-25, 2020 at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin MO. See the flyer for more information. Senior Division is Saturday, April 25. Poster session will be from 9:30-11:00 AM; lunch, meetings and breakout sessions from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Oral presentations 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
CNAS Faculty/Staff Awards 2020
All CNAS Faculty awards will be presented on Thursday, April 30. All nominations must be submitted by Friday, April 3. The policy is attached. It is also posted on the CNAS website.
