CNAS News & Updates
Good News: CNAS has two dean fellows to help with faculty mentoring and student research events.
- Welcome Dean Fellow Doug Gouzie who will be helping plan the CNAS Undergraduate Research Event this spring as well as encouraging our students to participate in both on campus and off campus research presentation events. He will be forming a faculty committee to help ensure the long term success of these events and our students.
- Welcome Dean Fellow Matt Siebert who will be leading and designing a CNAS Faculty Success Mentoring program. He has some great ideas and will also be seeking faculty input into this important activity.
I am very excited that they are bringing their skills to these important activities. Their appointments are through May of 2023 so in addition to implementation I have asked them to present a plan for the future next year.
