Today (4/15) is the deadline for Undergraduate Research Day Abstract submissions! CNAS Undergraduate Research Symposium – College of Natural and Applied Sciences – Missouri State
Brightspace will be the only LMS available for all classes starting May 13, 2024. Blackboard is totally gone on June 1, 2024 – gradebooks, course materials – everything will be gone and not be accessible after June 1, 2024. Just a quick reminder. Faculty Handbook Section 4.5.1.10. University-wide Learning Management System “ All faculty members shall use the university-wide learning management system to provide an electronic copy of the course syllabus and schedule, communicate class cancellations and schedule changes, and post student grades.”

Construction Update
Kemper Hall Construction News
Construction on the addition to Kemper Hall has begun. Demolition is done and it will be a little quieter in the future.

- Electrical and plumbing work in addition.
- Level 4 East shoring, rebar and Cobiax installation.
- Level 4 West shoring commences.
- Level 1 ductwork commences.
- Framing at exterior wall Level 2.

4/15/24 thru 5/10/24 – Topping out beam available in Atrium for CNAS students, faculty, and staff to sign.
5/11/24 thru 5/18/24 – Steam Outage
5/11/24 to 5/12/24 – Water Shut-Down (All water services will be unavailable)
5/13/24 thru 8/9/24 – Levels 2, 3, & 4 New Restroom Construction (Restrooms will be offline for the duration of the work)
The topping out party will be held on May 22. The top beam will be placed at 1 PM on May 22. I hope to see you there.
