SOAR and Summer Courses

SOAR and Summer Sessions have started.

United Way

United Way Day of Caring is Thursday, June 13, 2024 – Human Resources (missouristate.edu)  There is a box in my office (Blunt Hall 142) to collect items for Red Cross – children’s toothbrush and toothpaste, children’s shampoo/conditioner, children’s body wash, hairbrush/comb, washcloth, coloring books, crayons (small box).  Home – United Way of the Ozarks (uwozarks.org)  United Way of the Ozarks supports a number of local organizations.  MSU Faculty and Staff can donate through payroll deduction – watch for more information in September.

Brightspace Summer Camp

Bring your laptop and spend a few days learning about Brightspace and getting your courses ready for the Fall 2024 semester. This will be a hands-on lab with instruction and time to focus on building your courses in Brightspace with assistance from a FCTL instructional designer.

Dates:

June 24 – June 27; 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

July 22 – July 25; 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location: Meyer Library Rm 215

Interested faculty can register for the annual Showcase on Teaching and Learning and the Brightspace Summer Camp through My Learning Connection.
