SOAR and Summer Courses

SOAR and Summer Session start on June 3 today.

United Way

United Way Day of Caring is June 13, 2024 – Human Resources (missouristate.edu)  There is a box in my office (Blunt Hall 142) to collect items for Red Cross – children’s toothbrush and toothpaste, children’s shampoo/conditioner, children’s body wash, hairbrush/comb, washcloth, coloring books, crayons (small box).

Brightspace Summer Camp

Bring your laptop and spend a few days learning about Brightspace and getting your courses ready for the Fall 2024 semester. This will be a hands-on lab with instruction and time to focus on building your courses in Brightspace with assistance from a FCTL instructional designer.

Dates:

June 24 – June 27; 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

July 22 – July 25; 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location: Meyer Library Rm 215

Interested faculty can register for the annual Showcase on Teaching and Learning and the Brightspace Summer Camp through My Learning Connection.

NSF MRI Proposals

NSF MRI Proposals 2024 – The submission window is October 15 – November 15.  The internal competition will be sometime in July.  Major Research Instrumentation Program (MRI) | NSF – National Science Foundation

JQ Hammons Parkway will be closed through June 7

The walk under the football stadium will be closed from June 10 – early August.
