Paving the Path to Innovative Education
9/7/24 Kemper Hall Power Outage – Blunt Hall will have no power during this work. Watch for more information after Labor Day.
Cheek Hall Renovation – Design work is being done this fall. Construction will begin immediately after commencement in May of 2025.

8/27/24 – 8/29/24: Crane removed from site – Trucks on JQH Parkway
9/16/24 – 9/20/24: Exterior scaffold at main south entrance – entrance will be closed.
ADDITION PLANS – PHASE I
8/26/24 thru 8/30/24
- Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work in addition – Levels 3, 4 & 5.
- Gypsum board installation & Finish Level 2 & 3. Painting on Level 1.
- New restroom tile installation completed – Level 0.
- Curtain wall continues. Exterior glazing installation continues.
- Penthouse & screen wall panel installation continues – scheduled to be complete early September.
- Roof installation Level 5 continues. Roof installation at Auditorium continues. (Dumpster and heavy equipment on Briggs Street)
- Lab Casework Installation – Level 0.
- Elevator installation continues (duration-week 2/6).
- Auditorium concrete platform & step extension installation continues.
- Tower Crane Removal. (Trucks/Flatbeds on JQH Parkway)
9/2/24 thru 9/6/24 (No work 9/2/24 for Labor Day Holiday)

New Restrooms
Updates will be sent as the other restroom become available both in this notice and posters in the atrium.
However, the availability of these restrooms will be affected by the renovation.
We will communicate availability via signage as the work continues.
NOTE: Due to the phasing of the construction, only cold water will be available until October.
