Upcoming
Special event for all faculty with grant funding who want more information about how to manage their grant and who can answer their questions. Friday, December 6 1:00 PM in Blunt Hall room 143. Personnel from Sponsored Research and Financial Services will be there to meet you and answer questions. (They are willing to do monthly office hours in CNAS if this initial event is a success.)
The Foundation Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Research (and/or creative expression) and Service are intended to recognize full-time MSU faculty who demonstrate evidence of significant accomplishments. Faculty members must be nominated by peers for the Foundation Awards, which are funded by the Missouri State University Foundation. Foundation Awards are presented annually up to two faculty in each of the three categories. Each recipient receives $3,600 in the form of a salary authorization.
The process steps and timeline are as follows:
• Step 1: First Friday in December – That’s December 6, 2024: Peer nominations due to college dean
• Step 2: Third Tuesday in January: Faculty member award submission due via Faculty Success
• Step 3: Second Friday in February: College selections due
• Step 4: Last working day of February: Deans’ Team selections due

Phase One
12/2/24 thru 12/20/24
Site Impact: All Project Deliveries will be using Briggs Street for the remainder of the Project – Phase One & Phase Two.
- Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work in addition & auditoriums.
- Gypsum board installation & Finish Level 4. Painting Level 4.
- Lab Casework Installation continues – Level 3.
- Level 1 & 4 floor polishing.
Projected completion data April 1. We will be working with each lab to determine move-in dates between April 1 and June 30, 2025.
Phase Two
12/2/24 thru 12/20/24
- Electrical work continues South Side Level 2 & 3.
- Ductwork installation continues – South Side Level 2 & 3.
- Hydronic piping installation continues – Basement, South Side Level 2 & 3
- Domestic water piping installation commences – South Side Level 2 & 3
