Veteran Student Services cordially invites you to attend this historic event. Four generations of American military veterans share their personal perspective of war and courage. Opening remarks from fellow veteran and President of Missouri State Mr. Clif Smart.
Ed Fox shares his perspective of war from a machine gun bunker on Midway to a forward observer position during the battle for Iwo Jima and the postwar occupation of Japan.
Bob Dimond discusses his experience on the front lines during the Korean War as an Army Medic.
Denzil Batson recounts his experience as a rifle platoon sergeant during the two day assault of a 60 degree slope called Little Gibraltar. Sgt. Batson fought in freezing temperatures and lost nearly one half of his platoon.
Dan Emrie served as a combat photographer during the Vietnam War. Stationed in Phu Cat, Republic of South Vietnam, Dan was given the mission of photographing the war from the front lines.
Devin Baker served as a Heavy Equipment Operator and a Combat Engineer through two tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. SSgt Baker is our most recent veteran to return home to a very grateful country.
