The English Department is holding the 8th annual MSU Undergraduate Literature Conference during English Week at the Plaster Student Union in Room 317. The ULC welcomes undergraduate students from across the region to present their research in a public forum.
We also encourage members of the community, as well as family members and friends of presenters, to attend. Conference attendees will have the pleasure of listening to student scholars whose papers enrich our understanding of classic literary texts and of modern popular culture. Recent papers have covered a fascinating array of topics, including feminist ethics in Shakespeare and disability stereotypes in the Marvel cinematic universe. In the lively conversations that follow the presentations, students and audience members learn from each other. You can find a full version of the schedule on the English Week Undergraduate Literature Conference webpage or download a printable version by clicking the button below.
The conference is free and open to the public!
Please join us Thursday, April 7, from 9:30 AM to 3:15 PM, and Friday, April 8, from 10:10 AM to 3:20 PM at the PSU, Room 317!
