Birthplace of Rt. 66 Festival August 12-14
Downtown will host the sixth annual Birthplace of Rt. 66 Festival on Friday, August 12 to Sunday, August 14. It has grown to become one of the largest celebrations of the Mother Road in the country with 23,000 people last year and many more expected this year. Hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles, live music, demonstrations, food, Rt. 66 authors and artists, and more will be throughout the weekend. A full schedule of activities is available at http://www.route66festivalsgf.com/events.html.
The Birthplace of Rt. 66 Festival is a great opportunity to showcase Downtown Springfield and bring new patrons to our businesses. We encourage you to look for ways to be a part of the fun with specials and promotions on your social media.
