Holland Avenue Closed from Madison to Cherry

May 18, 2018 by Abby Brown

Holland Avenue will be closed from North of Madison Street to Cherry Street on Monday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 29.  This street closure is to allow The City of Springfield Department of Public Works to make repairs to Holland Avenue.  The intersection of Bear Boulevard and Holland as well as the intersection of Harrison Street and Holland will be blocked as a result of this work.  Sidewalks along Holland Avenue in the area of the work may also be impacted by the work.

City crews may begin saw cutting the street on May 19 and May 20 in preparation of the repairs but Holland will remain open during that time.

Access to Parking Lot 25 will be available from Madison Street during the street closure.

Access to Parking Lots 35 and 36 will be available from Harrison Street during the street closure.
