Each year it is necessary to shut down the campus steam system to perform required inspections and necessary maintenance on the campus steam system.  This outage helps ensure our steam system remains reliable and safe.

The annual steam outage will start at midnight on Friday, May 10^th, and run continuously until the evening of Wednesday, May 15^th.  During the outage you may find that some buildings on campus are colder than usual and domestic hot water may not be available.

Facilities impacted (in alphabetical order) are as follows:

3. Blair Shannon House – HVAC, Domestic Hot Water and Food Service
4. Carrington Hall – HVAC
5. Cheek Hall – HVAC

7. Ellis Hall – HVAC (Humidity Control)
8. Forsythe Athletic – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
9. Foster Family Recreation Center – HVAC, Domestic Hot Water, Pool Heat and Spa.
10. Freudenberger House – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
11. Greenwood Lab School – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
12. Hill Hall – HVAC
13. Karls Hall – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
14. Kemper Hall – HVAC
15. Magers Health and Wellness Center – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
16. McDonald Arena – HVAC and Domestic Hot Water
