The Missouri State University Office of Facilities Management will be venting steam as part of our annual boiler tuning at the Power House located at 940 Carrington Ave. Venting will occur at various intervals over a four-day period starting on Thursday, October 10, 2024 through Sunday, October 13, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Venting will consist of a series of steam releases into the air from the main steam vent above the roof of the Power House. This will create a high column of steam which may look like smoke and will be accompanied by a loud sound similar to rushing air.
