The new sidewalk along Grand Street could not be poured on Friday, June 26th due to weather. This work will occur on Monday, June 29th.

Please be advised, from June 30, 2026 through July 6, 2026, pedestrians entering and leaving campus will need to use the Grand Street sidewalk from the tunnel to the east side of Craig Hall.

From July 7, 2026 through August 15, 2026, the tunnel will close and the Grand Street crosswalk will open. The stop lights at the crosswalk will have an annunciator to assist with crossing. During this time, the sidewalk from Karls Hall to Grand Street will be closed. A route for pedestrians will be provided on Carrington Avenue. Carrington Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Construction fence and signage will be installed to clearly identify the pathways.
