Alumni and friends of Missouri State University donated $21,534,074 in fiscal year 2018. It is the biggest fundraising total in the history of the Missouri State University Foundation. On April 9th, we celebrated the opening of the Bill and Lucille Magers Family Health and Wellness Center.

This state-of-the-art facility has enhanced existing care for Missouri State students and employees, as well as expanded its services and amenities.

Thanks to a generous gift, on April 20th, a performance area in Ellis Hall was dedicated as The C. Mike Minor Recital Hall.

At Missouri State’s spring and fall Public Affairs Conference, the discoverer of the Titanic, Dr. Robert Ballard, and former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager were the keynote speakers of those conferences.

MarooNation Ball galas, these privately funded scholarships benefit full-time students who have financial need, and embody the university’s public affairs mission.

It has also been an exciting year for Missouri State University West Plains! September 26th was the grand opening of the Hass-Darr Hall, a facility which will become the “heart of campus,” with the variety of services it houses.
