Foundation raises record-breaking $21.5 million

Alumni and friends of Missouri State University donated $21,534,074 to the foundation in Fiscal Year 2018, which ended June 30. This is the greatest fundraising total in the Foundation’s history.

Jenna Bush Hager to headline 2018 Public Affairs Conference

Jenna Bush Hager will be the keynote speaker at Missouri State University’s fall 2018 Public Affairs Conference. She will speak at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. Bush Hager’s keynote is free and open to the public. There will be a private reception and dinner with Bush Hager prior to the keynote and tickets are available for purchase online.

Greg Onstot Outstanding Achievement Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the Greg Onstot Outstanding Achievement Award. The recipient of the 2018 Onstot Award will be presented at the Missouri State Alumni Association Bears of Distinction Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 23. The recipient will receive a plaque and a cash award of $1,200. The nomination deadline is 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 8.

Bill and Lucille Magers Family Health and Wellness Center

The Bill and Lucille Magers Family Health and Wellness Center is the new medical home for Missouri State University. The new name was announced at the dedication ceremony held on April 9, 2018. This three-story facility is 39,000-square-foot facility and includes services that were not previously offered to the campus community, including a women’s health center, sports medicine clinic, drive-through pharmacy, mental health counseling services and more.

Major renovations planned for Greenwood Lab School

Greenwood Laboratory School will be celebrating its 110-year anniversary in 2018. The building, which turned 50 years old this year, is undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion project to upgrade its facilities.

Annual Board of Trustees Meeting October 26, 2017

At the Missouri State University Foundation’s 2017 Board of Trustees Annual Meeting today, we welcomed new trustees and recognized outgoing members. We thank Michael H. Ingram, outgoing Chair, for his service and leadership.

David D. Glass Hall Grand Re-opening and Robert Gourley Student Success Center Dedication

Missouri State University officially unveiled the newly renovated Glass Hall – home of the College of Business – to the community today during Homecoming week. The David D. Glass Hall Grand Re-Opening and Robert Gourley Student Success Center Dedication was held at 10 a.m. Oct. 26 at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Grand Atrium and followed by self-guided tours of the building.
