Officials with Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) and the Missouri State University Foundation will make an announcement at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Broadway Building, 218 W. Broadway, in West Plains.

Officials will announce a transformational gift that will lead to the naming of an entire academic program and a renaming of the building, which is part of the MSU-WP campus.

Once home to West Plains’ Coca-Cola Bottling Co. plant, the Broadway Building now houses the university’s Physical Plant, which provides upkeep and maintenance services to all buildings and grounds on campus.
