Veggies in the high tunnel

May 13, 2011 by Marilyn Odneal

Today we were planting vegetables in the annual side of the high tunnel. We are just completing construction on the tunnel, and ideally we would have planted the vegetables earlier to get a boost on the season. This year we are going to figure out the tomato trellising system, set up the irrigation and plan on crop rotation. Next year, with our completed tunnel, we will put the vegetables in earlier and get an advance on the season.
