Fertilizing raspberries

April 11, 2019 by Marilyn Odneal

We removed the straw from the top of the bagged raspberries in mid-March. Today, Jeremy and Shelia fertilized each raspberry bag with 1 tablespoon of Osmocote 14-14-14. We recorded two raspberry bags of Crimson Giant did not have shoots or grow last year. Besides these two, it looks as though all of the raspberries have overwintered well into their sixth season. We hope that this the raspberries will fruit this season, as they did not yield very well in 2018.

Shelia and Jeremy are applying one tablespoon 14-14-14 osmocote to each bagged raspberry plant.
