Group listens to Susanne tell history of the Station

Six Tri-County Master Gardeners andĀ four staff from the State Fruit Experiment Station hosted a small, mellow gathering of nineteen interested people for tours and a talk on the history of the Station on the evening of Sept 14. John Avery Demonstrates Pruning a Peach Tree

We held the annual Pruning Workshop on Saturday March 6 this year. Twenty participants arrived in the early morning cold south breeze to learn how to prune fruit crops. We formed two groups, one to start with apples and peaches and the other group began with blueberries and grapes, then we switched.
