First Day Building with Habitat in NOLA – Michaela Goldsmith

March 14, 2017 by Alex Johnson

Today was both our first day working with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans as well as my first day ever working with Habitat. I was blown away by how much work and effort goes into these houses! Yesterday we were able to explore the lower ninth ward and New Orleans which allowed us to gain more insight into the history of this city and the people we are here to serve. Follow Your Passion, Find Your Place: Indianapolis

March 8, 2016 by

Today while serving with the Friends of the White River, an organization that is dedicated to the upkeep and the preservation of the White River close by Indianapolis, there were a lot of things that us participants could have taken from this day, but for me I got a really big lesson in passion. Being a Missouri State student I hear “Follow your passion, find your place” … [Read more...] about Follow Your Passion, Find Your Place: Indianapolis
